The Dark Side of the Island

[Event Starts: 9:00 am 08/09/2010 - Event Ends: 5:30 pm 28/09/2010] Emerging island based photographer, Christian Carter-Stephenson, is organising a solo exhibition of his work at Ryde library in September. The exhibition will feature eighty never before seen images of local scenes that tend to be overlooked, either because they are off the beaten track, or because they evoke troubling feelings. Instead of the usual tourist hotspots, you will see another side of the island... a darker side. Death and decay feature heavily, but there is also a haunting beauty.
