can spend hours fishing for crabs or exploring the rockpools.

- Puckpool park
- Puckpool Park between Seaview and Ryde,
was once a Victorian Fortification Battery used to guard the Solent. The park
is now a historic monument offering fantastic sea views & sandy beaches, with
a children’s play park, tennis courts, mini golf, petanque, putting &
beautiful gardens.
RAINY DAYS
- Bembridge Windmill
- Bembridge Windmill is the only windmill
on the Isle of Wight - constructed in the 1700's comprises of a stone tower
and wooden cap. The mill was in use until 1913 - it was given to the National
Trust in 1961. The Windmill is a fascinating piece of industrial archaeology,
the wooden machinery including sweeps are still intact and artefacts cover
three floors of this circular building - from the top there are great views of
Brading Marshes and beyond. Click
